AIT Car Pooling Facebook Page is an initiative of AIT Campus and Sustainability Club with the following objectives:

*Sharing the cost of travel expenses
*Reduce the carbon emissions of the campus
*A chance for socializing during a long motor drive

The car pooling can be used in the following scenarios:

*Travelling from or to the airports
*Bulk shopping that would require a vehicle E.g. Makro, Talad Thai
*Users owning vehicles that wouldn’t mind some company with or without a fee
*For organizing group trips

The methodology used will be that of creating an ‘Event’ on the facebook page  “AIT Car Pooling” . In this way, if anyone is interested in car pooling, he/she can:

*Initially see the list of events by clicking on ‘Events’. If there is already a car pooling event that suits your requirement then you contact the creator.
*If an event doesn’t exist, then one can create an event.

When: Date and Time

– For AIRPORT DEPARTURE, time should indicate the TIME OF LEAVING AIT
– For AIRPORT ARRIVAL, time should indicate the TIME OF FLIGHT LANDING
– For any other purpose, time should indicate time of leaving AIT or any other applicable destination
