Recently, some trees in AIT were restored by the help of OFAM [Office of Facilities and Assets Management]. These trees got uprooted near SOM [School of Management] building due to incessant rainstorms. The trees were perceived to be dead but OFAM decided to restore them. They moved the uprooted trees with their roots intact and placed them at other places inside AIT campus. The trees were re-planted with all ingredients necessary for a tree’s growth. The efforts of OFAM began to show fruit after a few weeks when the trees started showing signs of life with new leaves shooting out from them. It is expected that these trees will grow again and flourish as part of AIT’s flora and fauna.
